⚠️ A Cautionary Tale: Deceptive Promos & Impossible Customer Service
I’m writing this as a warning. My online shopping experience was a complete disaster, and I feel compelled to share it so others can be more cautious. I was drawn in by a buy-one-get-one-free promotion, but due to a website glitch, the offer wasn't applied. When I reached out to customer service to fix their error, I was met with an absurd and infuriating response. My conclusion about this company is that they are dishonest, doesn't honor promos. Makes it impossible to collect offer when the site is full of glitches. No customer Service 24 hours, no agent. Unprofessional. Will NOT return and I do NOT recommend them. I had to contact them to try and resolve what should have been a simple billing mistake.
Customer: Hello, your website had a glitch and didn't apply the BOGO promo to my order. I was charged for both pairs of glasses. I need a refund for the second pair.
CS Rep: I apologize for the inconvenience. I see the promotional error on your order. To resolve this, you will need to return both pairs of glasses. Once we receive them, you can place a new order and re-apply the promotion.
Customer: Return them? Why? You admit it was your site's error. The glasses are the correct style and prescription. The simple solution is to just credit back the charge to my card.
CS Rep: I understand your frustration, but our policy requires a return and reorder to correct a promotional error. I cannot issue a direct credit. I can send you a prepaid return label.
Customer: That is an unbelievable and unprofessional solution. You’re making this impossible. I’m not going through all that trouble for your mistake.
CS Rep: I am sorry, but that is the only solution we can offer at this time.
The reason I left this review on the website is to hopefully prevent others from falling into the same trap.
